Swans snap up New Zealand defender

Swans new management team moved swiftly to snap up New Zealand international central defender Liam Higgins.  Liam has represented his country at 2 Under 20 World Cups and joins the Swans after recently playing his football in Australia. Rafa points the way …

Earlier this month Newcastle United boss Rafa Benítez dedicated some of his time to new Swans Head Coach Cristian Colás, Stuart Bimson and Albert Martinez at the Magpies Training Centre. The well respected Rafa was an inspiration and solid guidance to the new Staines Town management and Cristian was full of praise for the afternoon spent at the club. The guys would like to thank Talk Sports and Sky Sports Guillem Balague and look forward to many more of these ‘special’ occasions as we move into a new era. New manager Cristian Colás aiming high

Staines Town Football Club are delighted to announce Cristian Colás has been appointed as the club’s new manager. The Spanish coach has signed a deal to take the helm at the Swans and will be presented at a press conference at Wheatsheaf Park in the coming weeks. Stuart Bimson and Albert Martinez, who worked with Colás previously, are joining his backroom staff.
