2019-20 League Assignment

The league assignments for Step 1 to 6 of the National League System for next season have been made; with Staines Town returning to the Isthmian League. Following our relegation from the Southern League South, we will be plying our trade in the Isthmian League South Central with allocations being subject to a 7-day appeal period. Club Statement

Following on from recent media allegations directed at Staines Town FC, the club would like to make its position clear. The club is currently involved in a legal dispute with a counter party which include but is not limited to potential criminal charges against the other party which have directly affected the football club as a result. Staines Town Part Ways with Easom

The club would like to regrettably announce that it has parted ways with manager Rob Easom. Rob had recently taken over the reigns at Wheatsheaf Park, but the club has decided that a change was required to keep the team in the division. We wish Rob all the success in his future endeavours and thank him for his hard work during his stint with the Swans. The backroom staff will remain in place.

Swans sign Finn Tapp on loan

Staines Town FC are delighted to announce that Finn Tapp has signed on loan from MK Dons until January 1st. Finn, a 19 year old defender, has been part of the MK Dons youth setup since the age of 8. He made his first team debut for MK in November 2016, scoring on debut in an EFL Trophy tie against Norwich City. This season he has featured once for the first team, playing in an EFL Cup tie versus AFC Bournemouth. Swans sign trio of players

The Swans have signed a trio of players this week; left-back Tanasheh Abrahams, central midfielder Wilson Changoka and winger Matthew Campbell-Mhlope. Abrahams joins from Dulwich Hamlet, where he spent the last 14 months, including being part of the side that won promotion from the Bostik Premier League to the National League South. He also had been part of the Wingate & Finchley side which reached the Bostik Premier play-offs in 2016-17. Club Statement: Manager Appointed

Staines Town FC are delighted to announce that Robert Easom is to take over the vacant manager position. Robert, a UEFA B licensed coach brings with him a wealth of experience within football. He has held various coaching positions within professional football clubs at Academy level and most recently held the position of Head Coach of Watford FC Academy USA. Saturday 13 October marks the annual Non League Day initiative and the Swans feature in a home tie in the Southern Prem South versus Merthyr Town. Club Statement – Cristian Colas

The club would like to regrettably announce that it has parted ways with Head Coach Cristian Colas. Cristian had taken over the reigns this summer but the club has decided that this action was required to secure the future of the team. We wish Cristian the best in his future endeavours and thank him for his hard work during his stint at Wheatsheaf Park. Backroom staff Albert Martinez and Stuart Bimson have also left Staines Town. With immediate effect, First Team Coach Adam Wickes will be stepping as Interim Head Coach.

The Swans home game in the Evo-Stik South Prem South versus Hartley Wintney FC has been re-arranged. It was previously scheduled to take place on Saturday 8 December 2018, but has now been brought forward to take place on Saturday 22 September at 3pm. Swans acquire former Swindon duo

Staines Town are delighted to announce that midfielder Harry Agombar and striker George Barker have signed for the Swans. Agombar spent the initial part of his youth career at Arsenal and Tottenham before finishing off at Grays Athletic. He subsequently played for Grays’ senior side prior to playing at Barnet in League Two, Swindon Town in League One. Most recently he played for Bowers and Pitsea. Barker also features a professional football background, starting his career at Brighton and Hove Albion before having loan spells at Barnet and Newport County. Barker then joined Agombar at Swindon Town during the 2014-15

Season Ticket Update

We’ve had a number of enquiries by email and SMS about Staines Town FC Season Tickets for the forthcoming 2018/19 football season, which is great news. We are not quite ready to issue invoices for these, or to hand out the physical tickets. Swans new management team moved swiftly to snap up New Zealand international central defender Liam Higgins.  Liam has represented his country at 2 Under 20 World Cups and joins the Swans after recently playing his football in Australia. Rafa points the way …

Earlier this month Newcastle United boss Rafa Benítez dedicated some of his time to new Swans Head Coach Cristian Colás, Stuart Bimson and Albert Martinez at the Magpies Training Centre. The well respected Rafa was an inspiration and solid guidance to the new Staines Town management and Cristian was full of praise for the afternoon spent at the club. New manager Cristian Colás aiming high

Staines Town Football Club are delighted to announce Cristian Colás has been appointed as the club’s new manager. The Spanish coach has signed a deal to take the helm at the Swans and will be presented at a press conference at Wheatsheaf Park in the coming weeks. Stuart Bimson and Albert Martinez, who worked with Colás previously, are joining his backroom staff.
