Emirates FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round Draw

Following the Swans’ dramatic win over Hanwell Town in the previous round, we have been drawn away to Haringey Borough in the 2nd Qualifying Round of the competition. This marks the second time the two sides have met this season; having already shared a 3-3 draw in our opening pre-season game. The tie will take place on Saturday 21st September at 3pm.

Ashley Lodge Returns to the Swans

We’re delighted to announce that club favourite Ashley Lodge has committed to the club for the upcoming season. In his previous spells with the club, he has played a total of 164 times for the first team prior to his departure in December 2015. Lodge picked up the Reserve and Academy Player of the Year awards in 2009, 2010 and 2011; before he landed the First Team Player of the Year award in 2014. We hope the Swans fans are as excited as we are in welcoming Ashley back home to Wheatsheaf Park.

Swans sign Finn Tapp on loan

Staines Town FC are delighted to announce that Finn Tapp has signed on loan from MK Dons until January 1st. Finn, a 19 year old defender, has been part of the MK Dons youth setup since the age of 8. He made his first team debut for MK in November 2016, scoring on debut in an EFL Trophy tie against Norwich City. This season he has featured once for the first team, playing in an EFL Cup tie versus AFC Bournemouth. Tapp will be available for selection for the trip to Wimborne Town and please join us in welcoming him

Swans sign trio of players

The Swans have signed a trio of players this week; left-back Tanasheh Abrahams, central midfielder Wilson Changoka and winger Matthew Campbell-Mhlope. Abrahams joins from Dulwich Hamlet, where he spent the last 14 months, including being part of the side that won promotion from the Bostik Premier League to the National League South. He also had been part of the Wingate & Finchley side which reached the Bostik Premier play-offs in 2016-17. Club Statement: Manager Appointed

Staines Town FC are delighted to announce that Robert Easom is to take over the vacant manager position. Robert, a UEFA B licensed coach brings with him a wealth of experience within football. He has held various coaching positions within professional football clubs at Academy level and most recently held the position of Head Coach of Watford FC Academy USA. Hartley Wintney Home Fixture Rescheduled

The Swans home game in the Evo-Stik South Prem South versus Hartley Wintney FC has been re-arranged. It was previously scheduled to take place on Saturday 8 December 2018, but has now been brought forward to take place on Saturday 22 September at 3pm. Swans acquire former Swindon duo

Staines Town are delighted to announce that midfielder Harry Agombar and striker George Barker have signed for the Swans. Agombar spent the initial part of his youth career at Arsenal and Tottenham before finishing off at Grays Athletic. He subsequently played for Grays’ senior side prior to playing at Barnet in League Two, Swindon Town in League One. Most recently he played for Bowers and Pitsea. Barker also features a professional football background, starting his career at Brighton and Hove Albion before having loan spells at Barnet and Newport County. Barker then joined Agombar at Swindon Town during the 2014-15

Swans snap up New Zealand defender

Swans new management team moved swiftly to snap up New Zealand international central defender Liam Higgins.  Liam has represented his country at 2 Under 20 World Cups and joins the Swans after recently playing his football in Australia. At just 24 Liam has collected a growing reputation for his combative style and his aerial ability and will be a huge addition to the Swans squad. Welcome to the Swans, Liam!
