Wimborne Town (A)

Staines made the trip down to Wimborne Minster on the south coast for a critical Southern League South game against Wimborne Town. The Swans went into the game in 21st in the league table and their opponents not far above them in 17th position. However, this was until Luca Charles-Valentine unleashed fury from his right boot and fired in a stunning opening goal in the 20th minute. Staines then threatened as the break approached, forcing a couple of saves from the Hanworth keeper. Shortly after the break, Thomas
