League Constitutions Announced

The Football Association Non League System committee has just announced the constitutions of the leagues and divisions for the forthcoming 2021/2 season. After some speculation that Staines Town would be shuffled back to the Southern League, it is with a degree of relief that we are remaining as Isthmian members, still in the South Central Division 1 in which we have played for the past two aborted seasons. Fourteen of our twenty opponents remain, but we will be saying goodbye to six clubs located in the northern and eastern extremities of the division, namely Barking, FC Romania, Harlow Town, Hertford

DAVID NORRIS STEPS DOWN AS STFC SUPPORTERS’ CLUB CHAIRMAN

Staines Town FC wishes to extend its thanks and recognition to David Norris, who yesterday (4 May 2021) decided to step down as Chairman of the STFC Supporters’ Club.  David has held that position since the Supporters’ Club was reconstituted in January 2015, and has guided the organisation with great skill and enthusiasm over the past six seasons, regardless of results on the field.  He also held the post of Supporters’ Representative on the STFC General Committee.   David, whose business has also been a valued sponsor at Wheatsheaf Park, revealed his decision to fellow STFCSC members this morning, and
