Lewis was signed following an impressive trial in September 2018. He initially joined Brentford as a 12 year old and played through to their under-23s with short loan spells at Burnham and Oxhey Jets.

Since leaving Brentford, Lavender spent part of the 2016-17 season at Kings Langley and last season represented Rayners Lane.
